A new Telkom technician came over on Monday, only to tell us that they are not going to string the line from our house to the street, they told us to get an electrician to do that. So, on Wednesday, we got our old technician over to string the telephone line from our house to the street, it took them about 15 minutes, because there was already a pipe and everything there, we even kept enough cabling in our garage.
So Today (Thursday), another Telkom technician came over, only to tell us that he can't find the Telkom manhole, even our gardener knows exactly where the Telkom manhole is, it's like 1.5m from where the pipe, with our telephone line they stringed, was in. He told me that now they are going to get plans from another department to find the manhole. How can you not find a large cement block with a hole in?
