See I also got the spam email, and I have bought from them before a few years ago. Mentions nothing about sybaritic shutting down either.

Ahhh ok, so then doing business on the 9th of December was acceptable... anybody who had any dealings in terms of placing orders and them being accepted after that date should come forward.

I don't know how the entity survived until the voluntary liquidation as the entity was to be deregistered (Final) due to outstanding annual returns on the 16/07/2010. That are 4 years...

I'm glad to see that Rebeltech are still giving things a go, we've only had excellent experiences through them, including a warranty claim.

sybaritic traded from an office/business park in strijdom park. I had a client that housed their business in the same business park (client moved out about 2 years ago), unless sybaritic moved their offices from there...

I dodged this bullet by a ballhair, even had items in shopping cart, still responded to an auto email why I didn't complete transactions. Fortunately I found my stuff cheaper at Pick 'n Pay of all places.

Which store, and when did they respond?
 
Lol and this is why I don't trust smaller shops on the internet. Rather walk into local shop to buy stuff or if I can't find what I need or want, I'll look on Takealot. Never had any bad experience with Takealot
 
I was lucky to get all the products they owed me. There was only a small refund outstanding, few hundred bucks, I think. But not gonna sweat it.
