Tablets and e-readers versus printed books

Done properly even low resolution formats should have crystal clear fonts .

I agree, an aquaintance gave me a PDF file e-book, the subject which is the iPhone 4S ... , which, I am going to have to give the full treatment, which I do not relish. I do not have a clue where he got it.

I will redo it as the iPhone 4S is my first Apple product, and I need a "little" orientation ... , that is if I don't chicken out first, or find a good copy elsewhere.

For me the tablet combined with the Amazon Kindle app and Zinio is the way forward.

As a developer I have always found it a mission to find up to date books on new technology I am learning. Amazon fixed that for me. Loads of new dev books available and I always have them with me. Can make notes on pages and search those notes too.

I also used to subscribe to all the local PC, Tech and gaming mags. As my subscriptions have come to an end I have renewed them via Zinio. Just PC Format to go. Again, always got my mags with me wherever I go.
I also love the XBox360 mag, but that is UK and you pay a premium for them locally. For the cost of 2, I got a full years subscription via Zinio. Sorted.

As for non fiction... I don't read those. Rather watch the movie
