Takealot False Advertising

Hi,

So today I purchased the X-Files boxset ( on special for R799) from Takealot but they charged me R1038 (I only realised after I paid; I bought other things as well). Has this happened to anyone here before? I feel like a fool for not checking before I paid. Would they refund me my money?

I have a feeling there were multiple sellers and you might have selected the "wrong" one.

I often buy items with 3 sellers and a range for eg of 1500-2000.

Always been charged what I saw, you would have seen the price on atleast 3 screens and approved a specific amount when buying on your card as well.

They always issue credit, and you can have it refunded via their website or app
