You don't automatically get a voucher when you create a new account.
Takealot has to email you with a voucher as a promotion on your first purchase, but I'm pretty sure Takealot is not emailing every random person that is creating a new account. So not everyone can "get his own voucher"

From what I know, loot doesn't give vouchers like Takealot does. If they do, I've never received anything from them in all these years

Loot only gives out R50 off R250 vouchers for a successful referral (an order made on receiver's account).

As far as Raru goes, they mentioned on another thread on myBB that they won't be giving out vouchers.

Goes without saying, but I'm not in the market for such things on a month to month basis. Living in the sticks means that there are quite a few essentials that are hard to find, and Takealot fills the gap with a lot of stuff.
