Takealot Vouchers (Begging) Thread

Daily deals are free by default, unless something has changed, don't know haven't seen it in a while. This is exactly what I said will happen with the Kalahari merger.

I can't remember ever getting a daily deal under R250 on free delivery.

Just today I was comparing prices and bought an item from loot which was cheaper than Takealot plus got free delivery with "freed" code

They always had the free delivery but didn't advertise it. Now it's prominent in their emails and everything.

Was always R250 for free delivery from Loot (which was the norm in SA). Now it's a marketing point, as TaL has increased their minimum.

Loot still uses the regular courier companies like FedEx. TaL decided to do their own deliveries with Mr Delivery and now it's backfired on them. With external couriers there's competition and you can negotiate delivery rates.

I hardly think it's about delivery cost. A scam devised to get you to buy more to meet the now escalated minimum for free delivery.
