I bought the Fractal Design Adjust 108 Fan Controller so I only need to pay R144.

Wanted to first buy a new CPU, but decided I can't make that kind of purchase on a whim.

No, they took the full amount. I got an sms from FNB as well showing R277 instead of R77.

Me 2 , deducted full amount , called takealot at that point and the calldesk lady just told me there is a limit , and the discount only
applies if you are lucky to grab the discount voucher before somebody else's payment goes thru.
So in essence , you will never know if you get discount unless the order is paid , not at the REDEEM CODE screen.
I am really upset with these guys , 2nd time this has happened.

That's bs, I used yesterday's voucher when it came out, payment was only done in the evening. Only got charged discounted amount.
