Teamviewer alternative

TeamViewer are a bunch of rip-offs. Less than 3 months of buying a commercial license they upped to a new version and tried to get me to pay the full amount again, all for no improvement which would have been of use to me. And, yes, at the time of purchase they confirmed that no upgrade was on the horizon.

Other reputable software companies offer from 12 month free upgrade window to perpetual.
Did you message them and see what they say?

They now seem to be yearly subscription based?

If it was a few months ago, you should be on v12 which is still a lifetime license, so you can continue connecting to clients/pc's that have v12- installed.. From v13 they no longer have the lifetime license but an annual subscription license.

I bought a v7 license few years back and shortly thereafter they released v8, which I managed to get a free upgrade to. I still use v8, only thing is I can't connect to newer versions, so I have the install file/QS version on my website which I get clients to download so I can connect to their PC's.
