Why do articles have links to the thread in the forum while some don't?

All main articles link to forum posts - but minor ones often dont (we dont publish links here...). You were just too fast with this one - manual process :)
 
Are these stats good/bad? How does it compare with other providers such as Neotel, Vodacom/MTN, iBurst, etc?
 
So what is the average maximum and average minimum waiting time when you phone the support lines?
 
I'd like to see some details on how these stats are obtained.
- Were these tests conducted from a physical ADSL line endpoint? Or is performed from the exchange?
- Are the tests also subject to shaping?

Unfortunately ICASA didn't (i don't think) specify exactly how they should test, only that they should, which leaves them free to creatively present their best side...
 
Think we will have to do our own testing. Same as we did a while ago (the one with which I've won the ipod shuffle :D)

Overseas access was extremely poor for myself during the past two weeks.
 
A short one paragraph discussion of whether their performance is good or bad would have been great.
 
What a useless article. Its more like a press release as it doesn't contain any opinion or commentary. How does this compare to previous results?

I totally agree. I am not a hardcore network specialist so I don't know if the latency they are getting is good or bad. It might be pathetic or it could be the best thing ever. Pretty pointless article because it doesn't give us anything to benchmark these numbers against...

Overseas access is always extremely poor when it comes to accessing it via a Telkom line. So I reckon you had a good week going there. In a bad week it just doesn't work.
