Mine was NOT upgraded!
Which suits me just fine, they talk about the "router not being connected" when they do this.. Dumbasses, do they really think I am going to leave my ADSL plugged in while at work/away, and run the risk of everything being destroyed by lightning? Idiots!
So you switch off your router in the morning and on again in the evening? Seems more effort than running the risk of losing a router every now and then.
Here is an example of someone who doesn't know ANYTHING about electronics.
When my router got hit, in all cases, it went right through, to the ethernet ports, and then further "upstream"
Computers on switches had their ethernet ports blown aswell.
There is no damn way I am leaving routers connected. For what, to come home to find the TV, XBOX, computer, alarm system, and just about everything destroyed?
You also don't live in the area where I live, where several items exist that actively attract the lightning. Nor have you experienced a direct hit firsthand.
No thank you.

Those that were on 4Mbps on exchanges that only support a max of 4Mbps, have not been upgraded.
Only 12% of exchanges support 10Mbps.
First world problems... I can't get an ADSL line
