Telkom again!

Where the **** is the promised communication? Or has she been silenced by the hooded monsters within telkom?

Hi folks

Sharon got back to me on the same day, and soon afterwards Xolisa Vapi. Xolisa promised me a meeting this week with himself and Hans to discuss communication issues, but after I have received no information regarding this proposed meeting I contacted him again. He then informed me that he is not at work and that this week is problematic. We will now try for next week I guess. So far Sharon has been the only effective contact person at Telkom (after Hans left)…lets hope Xolisa makes good on his promises.

I will keep you guys up to date…

Regards,

RPM

Probably first scribbling some crib notes and getting an inner-ear transmitter - CIA style - so that the guys in the black van by the curb can whisper the answer to your questions into his ear.

See - this is what is happening - Telkom is 1st reading all the posts on this site in order to prepare some lame excuse.............................................

This is bull****, why do we really care about any telkom feedback? And when we get feedback, we go "well done Telkom, thanks for the communication"

We all know they playing for time and nothing else, and what they gonna tell you/me after struggling to get one answer wont be what we want to hear.

Its like digging in ****, hoping to find a piece of **** that wont smell.

Wake up forumites, I dont see how it helps us to dig deeper and play Telkoms game. Thats about all we are doing with these "communication channels"

*** forbid, if Im wrong and we get what we want/need/yurn(excuse the spelling) for with these communications eventually, then please cut my throat as I wont be worthy to live with myself knowing Telkom actually pleased their consumers and treated them with dignity/respect.

Little progress can be made by merely attempting to repress what is evil; our great hope lies in developing what is good.

What does that mean? It means **** Telkom - rather focus on using other companies and the SNO and anyone EXCEPT Telkom.

Hi guys

I have sent another letter to Sharon (cc to Xolisa) to explain the effect of non-communication from Telkom. This time it will be up to them to contact us! This simply goes down as another example of poor communication with customers, something ICASA was particularly interested in. In fact, ICASA has experienced the exact same thing with Telkom, so they know exactly what we are experiencing. Needless to say that no feedback from them will result in more action against them :D I wonder if they ever contemplate why people are so negative towards them?

Regards,

RPM

Some day Telkom will wake up and realise that competition is finally knocking and that communication and high quality service towards their customers instead of their customary shafting routine is required iot survive.

When that day arives.. and it oh soooo will, MARK MY WORDS, when RPM picks up the phone and some Telkom drone like Xolisa tries to brown nose his way into getting some kind of communication going, I hope RPM tells him exactly where to stick it !!!

It's as if they have regular meetings where they discuss just how they can deliver worse service and degrade something for more money.

What is the intention?? Because the hardest hit of their profiteering are the poor and poverty stricken people in this country who need upliftment the most...

All I can think to say is shame.. shame on you.

As a thought, seeing as there are emails to and from Telkom and MyAdsl - for historical and reading purposes, what about making a plain page with each communication and its response, simply listed in a long 'back and forth' thread. Each mail dated so that one can clearly see when it was sent, and whatever reply also suitably dated.

Just to have a nice readable public record of any communication from this Forum outward to Telkom (or if there are other to-and-from exchanges with other bodies) listed as well. (Locked off so no comments can be made.),
but letting the mails exist sequentially as a public record of communications..?

A communications company that doesnt communicate. They're quick enough to communicate retrenchments and profits though cos its all they're interested in.. not customers. What a bunch of knobs.

:( * I wonder if they ever contemplate why people are so negative towards them?*

Quite frankly I wonder if they could care less whether people are negative towards them or not. As long as they are lining their pockets i really dont think they give a toss about the man in the street.

WretchedToad :(

I was listening to Cape Talks interview the other day with Telkom and callers. Well one guy told Cape Talk on air that Telkom is the "bane of his life" and he thinks they are the "worst company in South Africa and he hates them".
Well the Telkom guy was squirming. I could hear him breathing. :D
