I've just run into the same issue. Been using this service for years on prepaid. Now all of a sudden I'm barred. I'm on Prepaid, so it would be impossible for me to default on payments, so maybe "Bonga Pay" the service that manages Play Store Payments for Telkom isn't paying Google.

Either way, this leaves me with very little reason to stick with Telkom over MTN or Vodacom now.

I guess I just have to pay with Virtual Cards or Paypal now.
