Telkom CEO Leaves

hrm.. interesting if its a internal matter, since he fired/let the others retire already ;)

surely this is a bad thing? despite telkom's current track record, they need stabilty... 2 ceo's in a couple of years wont help any one nor will it help drive service delivery up.

i doubt gov or share holders had anything to do with this. i reckon he just got f/o'd and decided there are better ways to earn a buck or million a month

so how many telkom people have left in the past few months??

I'm starting to see the POSSIBILITY of Telkom actually having a future now :P

But it now looks as if the Telkom Board gave him the boot. This changes matters...

Molotsane’s departure follows just weeks after the resignation of two of his lieutenants, chief sales and marketing officer Wally Beelders (who is joining Vodacom) and chief technical officer Reuben September.

Is that a mistake?

Telkom’s Chief Technical Officer (CTO), Thami Msimango, is the second Telkom executive member to resign, stating the same reason for his resignation as executive member Wally Beelders who resigned only a week before him.

Pity Shirley can't communicate in proper English...

it's employ

That damned apostophe again...

The company ... and wish him well

The company (singular) wishes him well.

in his future endeavors.

Tsk, tsk. Default US English spell checker?

3 Mistakes in one short press release. Typical telskim idiots.

OH who gives a cr@p, the news is far too good to check up on spelling and grammar!. *G*

What a waste of time

As far as I can see Papi accomplished precisely nothing during his tenure. The DSL price drops that did occur were the result of govt/public pressure rather than any independent direction by the CEO.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.

No doubt the next CEO will be as big a tosser.

Been offline this week to come back to all this!

Not really a surprise that Papi didn't last his full contract.

Papi was not popular in many quarters.

I just hope that the next guy drops the price of ADSL and International bandwidth...
