Telkom’s current CEO, Reuben September, received a total compensation of R19 108 837 over the last year. This was made up of a basic salary of R2 453 757, a performance bonus of R3 436 308 and benefits totaling R13 218 772.
Anyone want to calculate how many gigs of International data u can buy with that money?
R13 218 772 in benefits? So that's the price tag they put on a decent broadband connection.![]()
Was thinking the same thing
But seriously what reasonable benefits can be over R1 mil a month![]()
I've got a couple of questions:
What does one do with all that money? Performance bonus... so how much will that performance bonus be if telkom actually performs! Think of all the support staff they can appoint with all that money.
The ANC wants to establish a black upper class as quickly as possible regardless of the costs to society and even if means they're hurting their own people.
The most important thing to make a democracy work and for a economy to grow and become stabile is for a strong middle class to emerge.
This is the last thing on black African people's minds. They believe in centralized power. Look at Mugabe. He isn't mad. He just believes that his system is the best for Africa. He's making a mistake in the process but that's another story.
