Telkom contract - upgrade advice

Don't think so as its an old plan. I was on it years ago, was either 50 or 100 free anytime minutes.
Does she not do whatsapp? Why she don't use data? I mean 1gb is so small these days, don't know why you even go through the hassle of transferring it around.

theres fibre at home and she has another sim in her phone and that data doesnt transfer.

its a bit of a mess but it works
 
Telkom has prepaid LTE data bundles that start at R49 for 3+3 GB, 7.5+7.5GB (R99), 10+10GB (R146), etc. It's prepaid so not locked into a contract. I think the bundles are valid for 61 days.

Have not seen these on the app or web. Only available via the USSD menu?

I think so. I got a separate 2nd sim that they registered as LTE data something and just buy 10+10 every 2 months. I don't use much data on my phone's sim card cos I am either at work or at home and only use the odd phone data when out and about. Check with your Telkom store about their LTE bundles.

not strictly a Telkom question but if I am looking for prepaid minutes, are there any good bundles available?

I cannot say. I have been on Telkom prepaid for a few years now. I hate cellphone contracts. I just buy like maybe R100 worth of airtime very 2 months. I don't make much normal cellphone calls. If I do make calls then it's via Whatsapp mostly. I know there are some Telkom Mo'nice bundles from Telkom which some of my colleagues use but it's still a contract.

yeah I am similar, I kept this contract cos its just easier than buying every month, is not that expensive and suits the needs up until now.

will try a few things and see which works best
