Hi all,
Anyone in the Sliver Lakes/Tyger Valley area of Pretoria having the same problem I am having trying to get Telkom to fix their network ?
Router servicing the area subject to maintenance on 29th Dec. From 30th Dec our internet connection has become Sunusable because of poor latency ( this by the way is a 4Mb line which is synched to the DSLAM and has pretty good attenuation and margin values) to a local SA site

Trace complete.
Should be a pretty simple root cause right ?
1. Link from DSLAM is faulty
2. Someone stuffed up the router config when performing maintenance
3. Router and/or link is overloaded
Have reported this 6 times to Telkom and they still keep closing the ticket without dispatching an engineer to investigate or resolving the issue.
Any suggestions on how I can get them to resolve this issue as my ISP Web Africa is unable to help either ?
Thanks
