Hi all,

I currently have a telkom adsl line which came with email, if i cancel my internet contract with telkom will that email address i have with them be cancelled too? Is there any way to keep that email address?

Your e-mail account wont be canceled with the line cancelation but it will be removed as soon as you cancel your ADSL account. So if you want to move your line to another service provider then that would be fine but if you wish to permanently remove your adsl line and account then you will forfeit your @telkom e-mail.

Keep them both going for 2 weeks while you notify everybody. I think its a good idea to change your email address every few years. Gets rid of the spam

You can keep the e-mail for around R100 per year. Arrange it at the same time you cancel your ADSL.
