Rumours suggest that Telkom will launch prepaid cellular vouchers before the end of the year

They resell bulk airtime purchased from Cell-C

Telkom will be the Fourth Mobile Operator.

They have 2100mhz & 1800mhz Spectrum.

Virgin Mobile is only a virtual mobile network operator - and not a particularly strong one at that Really only Vodacom, MTN and Cell C.

Without Current Subscribers knowing that their 3G Bundles are the Cheapest on the market !

With less than 10 000 Telkom Sim Cards in the Whole Country !

With Most Telkom - Direct stores not having Telkom Sim Cards !

With The Highest Upload & Download speeds !

With the lowest latency on HSDPA !


Lets wait and see what happens !

Personally I like this development if true(which i think part is, not so sure of as rapid) because Telkom will be able to offer services voda won't be able to compete with + price and the currently particularly the 2 are sitting way too cosy. I think this is gonna really shake things up

Nope, internal consumption must be excluded when providing subscriber stats!
