I use around 200GB a month on 4mbps uncapped, so no doubt the 10mbps package will be much higher. I'm looking at the same deal.

Yes it available on month to month. Go back a few pages or search, it was discussed... however i do think the "special period" has expired but best to check...

The R799 deal is a sore point atm, it's not a question of "was" but "is". From my last invoice, VAT excl:
Total R876.32 or R999/mth including VAT.

Okay now I'm confused! So you're currently paying , let's say R1000 which includes landline , adsl and data so what did that R799 deal actually included ?

Land/voice line is not included in my figures or the deal.
The R799 deal comprises of the line items I quoted, as far as I know it's still available on contract with free modem or month to month without modem, ranger is going to investigate the price difference when the festive season is over.
Edit: just to clarify, I have been on 10Mbps uncapped for ages, when the R799 deal was introduced it was not made available to existing 10Mbps uncapped users in my position.

... guess all month to month users will be now paying the increased price while the 24 month contract users will continue to score.

Have a look at the Uncapped Internet tab, it is still there. Possible error by them...
As discussed earlier on the forum, the call centre stated that the month to month will continue with the R799.

I know you are talking about uncapped but for R699 you can get an all inclusive 10 MB line and a 100 GB Soft capped account.

Exactly why I went for the deal... on a M2M as I'm paranoid of contracts with the internet :crylaugh: so if a better deal comes around I can change just can't downgrade...

Now I'm really mad - as a long standing 10Mbps uncapped user I'm rewarded by being charged R389/mth more than the "bundle" price
