Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

Why Telkom internet services are the worsts in SA. They keep frustrating clients with empty promises of faster internet. You pay for faster internet only to get disappointed! The internet is too slow most of the time. So what do we pay for?
 
I'm on fibre with Telkom as my isp. almost every night I'm geting packet loss. unable to get through to Telkom. I'm in the pretoria east area
 
My youtube seems to be limited to 4meg on a 10 meg line during peak times.

Other sites not being limited.

All sites seems slow now.

So today my speedtest on a 20mb fibre is only 5mb down. Switch to a free axxess 1gb account and it works 100% 20mb down 10mb up, switch to telkom and 5-6mb down and 10mb up
 
I left TI many moons ago, due to piss poor performance, packet loss and drop outs constantly, moved to ignite, 100% improvement, which means my lines are fine, and the problem is most likely a shortage of IPC capacity.
 
Telkom Internet been really slow for me since Saturday intermittently affecting random websites. DStv now constantly buffers even on the lowest settings. Netflix seems to be fine. Generally websites load slowly especially tonight. 20mbps fibre.

Seems like you being hit with the same issue as mine. Had to make a pppoe connection from my pc to a free Axxess 1GB account to make it work as I couldn't game on my line whatsoever due to massive packet loss
 
I'm wondering if telkom are having problems on the South Coast (Amanzimtoti)? Plenty of packet loss when playing online for the last week or so.
 
Anyone else in KZN having issues? Can't even ping anything outside KZN right now. Only traffic within like a 50Km radius is going through
