Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

I'm on 4mb uncapped.

That's even worse... I did about 150gb for the month 70% was YouTube downloads on my 4mb uncapped. During the day as streaming does not work.

I remember people use to get to 300gb a months without being throttled.

The point I'm making is that it may not be throttling as I am experiencing the same issues at 30gb on a 4mb account.
I used to get over 250gb on a 2mb account.

True... I have the same issues. If you contact Telkom they just say they don't see a problem.

Most of us would be happy with 250gb on a 4mb line. The experience is definitely not worth the R704

Yes, I get the discount.
Which is one of the main reasons I haven't cancelled the account.

I see this months bill I don't get the R79 discount anymore. As far as I know everybody's has changed.

Check this months bill and confirm. If that's the case I better give them a call.

I'm also paying 704 for 4mbps plus all line rentals. Thinking of going back to Mweb 4mbps premium uncapped at 769 plus phone line, but that invisible cap limit is scary stuff. I do between 200gb and 400gb depending what games come out that month etc.

Telkom has dropped the 25% line discount. I had a call from Accounts after I logged a dispute because my April bill shows contract term 9 of 12 but the discount is R0 (zero rands).

As per the lady, the discounts no longer apply since the speed upgrades have now been complete and Telkom no longer offers any discounts besides the bundle discount.
So I asked the lady to remove the contract term from my future bills as I'm no longer getting 25% off, her reply, wait for it, if I cancel the contract I must pay a cancellation fee! Seriously, Telkom says I must pay to get out of a contract that no longer exists. WTF!?!

Anyway I cant complain too much as Aprils total bill was less than R570.

I'm not even talking about the 25% line discount you guys got. I'm talking about the Do bundle discount that I am no longer getting.

It could be that u on a contract. That's why you still have the bundle discount. The same could apply to electric.

The do bundle discounts should still apply. The lady I spoke with confirmed this. Log a call, I know painful, and next month you should see a double discount.

According to the speedtest, international and local differs by about .4Mbps however I can't for the life of me understand how it would take 1hr to download an HP driver 64MB is size over HTTP!
