Slow right now, I cannot even load of most webpages. It just shows up "connection has been reset" after 5min of "waiting from ...".

To those that have a 2mb line, I have a spare Connection.co.za 2mb uncapped R99 account that I'm not using that will expire at the end of the month.

First one to PM me will get the login details, and will have sole use of it until the end of the month

One rule tho:

Schedule your downloads to 23:00-6:00 7 days a week please otherwise you WILL get punished with the star rating.

Already did a router reset an hour ago. And the router is ddwrt, it restarts itself at 12 every day too. Pos isp... Need to get their act together, I expect it will probably get worse as they lay off more staff.

I am concerned that it is highly likely that the staff they lay off may just be the ones that are currently holding whats left of Telkom together. There may be even darker days ahead.:wtf:

Done. But Telkom makes it so incredibly difficult to cancel. 1+ hour of holding to get to cancellations. Then once you answer all their security questions to confirm that you are who you say you are, they dont cancel the account. You still have to wait for them to call you to again verify. As if holding for more than an hour would not have weeded out the undecided. I havent received my call. I fully expect to never get called and be forced into yet another month with them. Any logged disputes will serve to only further mess up the process. When they do eventually cancel it, I expect my lines to also incorrectly get cancelled.

Telkom really is a POS company.

Telkom screwed TCP, only half working

Just visited a friend, he has the same story. Can't load a single webpage.
He stays in Groenkloof.
We rebooted the router.

I did some testing and here is what I found:

1. DNS is working 100%
2. ICMP (ping) is working 100%
3. TCP can connect, send data, and the server receives the data, but the client cannot receive anything the server sends back.

Telkom are clearly !@#$%^ something up here.

My download speeds is at most 18kb/s.
My ping on Diablo 3 is 1747 most of the time.
My direct downloads die all the time.
My youtube videos on shst quality seems to stream ok.


Is there a way out of this contract or do I have to wait it out (the 2 years)?

720p YouTube streaming currently struggling and it's not even that magical time of the day when Telkom Internet grinds to a halt.

Please fix! Other days 720p works fine this time of the day.

4 MB line with a 4 MB uncapped account.

Edit: 480p not doing much better
