Mine when I am throttled is at exactly 45 kilobytes per second, and when not throttled, hovers between 10 kilobytes per second, and 200 kilobytes per second depending on the time of the day. Obviously vampire hours gets more or less full speeds. So basically my NZB downloads are now being treated like torrent downloads USED to be treated. Useless during day and acceptable when I sleep.
 
Telkom Internet seems to be a mixed bag at the moment, 3 of my friends are also on the 4MB Ti package and only 1 of us is having issues. 2 of my friends and I get great throughput on NZB's (paid server) and awesome streaming (mostly XBMC) but my 1 of my friends can barely break 10kB/s on NZB's (paid server too) and struggles to stream 360p from YouTube. It just doesn't make sense.

We all from the same suburb in Durban but I'm not sure if we all on the same exchange, I'll need to confirm this.

Maybe try swap accounts and see if the slowness follows or not? (just my logical troubleshooting brain at work :))

Great minds think alike lol, I just emailed my login details to my friend 20min ago and asked him to test.
I'll post our findings back here when he gets back to me.
 
Well, Telkom just went dead for me... Line is syncing etc etc but unable to do anything.
 
Was dead for me as well. I switched off my router for 10 min and put on later and got new IP and it worked again.

Yip, something they testing or there is a BIG fault. Please post the area you in guys when you experiencing a fault so we can see if it is a regional thing :).

Download from my box in Ger is going at 50% of 10Mbps line. Luckily i am gonna see Mr Jack Bauer in action so i can wait :D

Edit: 70 - 80% linespeed.

It was a toss up whether I post this in this thread or OW's one, but I think you guys win :)

To those that have a 2mb line, I have a spare Connection.co.za 2mb uncapped R99 account that I'm not using that will expire at the end of the month.

First one to PM me will get the login details, and will have sole use of it until the end of the month :)

One rule tho:

Schedule your downloads to 23:00-6:00 7 days a week please otherwise you WILL get punished with the star rating.
