It's only the 5th of the month! Did that extra hour of nightsurfer actually kick in?

Me testing for IPC issues a few times a day probably does not help my cause either...
I can count the amount of movies I dl'ed on my ten fingers with some to spare.

Clearly TI is imposing more restrictions ad lib.

My gaming ping shot up and only returned to normal after midnight.

Streaming was very blotchy.

I pay less than 2 euro's with Sunny, 1.79 to be exact. That's for unlimited downloads but speed is restricted to 5MB. I have a 4MB line so it's perfect for me.
Try their trial account and test before you buy.
 
Can anyone with a capped account possibly test if data between 6-7am is being counted or if it is free like TI said it would be?

We found a mistake in the implementation while implementing some other things this morning. It should now work correctly.

This is as a result of on-boarding some cdn traffic. This will allow us to reduce costs and thus provision more IPC, hopefully next week.
 
Guys what is the verdict.

Does downloading between 12 and 7am count or not? Is it totally free or is it's impact on the green bar just reduced?

Seems a little more than that, because i'm pretty sure my downloads have finished before 6am. This month i've changed to doing 100% of my downloading between 12 and 7am.

Line was installed yesterday, but everything is slow (browsing/streaming/gaming - random ping spikes).

There's another line on the same premises, also 2mb uncapped that performs A LOT better.


Edit: Other line is cancelled (end of the month); when there were problems with congestion TelkomZA got it moved to another IMAX/DSLAM, which also improved line stats, but had constant drops in connection afterwards (router problem I think).

Could I now be connected to a congested exchange again?

Can the difference in upload be the cause?
 
Downloads last night did not complete, since speeds were lower - from half max line speed to 2/3.

Back down to 3kb/s on torrents today.
