Looks like the KZN issue isn't resolved yet, iPlayer is fine here and ping also looks normal from PE:

From browsing around, ALOT of folks having issues around the country and with different iSPs .

Had to reset the port twice in 12 hours because everything grinds to a hault on the browsing side.

20 minute wait to get through to Telkom ISP.

Placebo effect. Resetting the port (I stand to be corrected on this) will generally only resolve issues at the exchange dslam. This morning's issue was bigger, way bigger, than that and as Yuu pointed out, affected more isp's than just TI.

Let's wait to hear the acronym-laden explanation from Ranger.
