Telkom Internet Capped/Uncapped User Feedback (Pt2)

This issue is occurring from 5 minutes ago. Mybb, BBC, Google, YouTube stopped loading. Even changing the DNS didn't help. I switched to my afrihost account for now. I'm in the KZN region.

Edit: Issue seems to be resolved.

So is this a Telkom problem? Sorry I don't really understand whats going on, but am very frustrated

Everything is fine on my side now. It seems it was a Telkom issue.

I have Telkom ADSL in Claremont/Kenilworth Cape Town, and have noticed the today YouTube, Reddit and Google have been blocked or really slowed down (Not the first time)n Like I could for instance do a search on Bing.com just fine but google would never load. Telkom says they have no idea why these websites won't load, BUT has anyone else experienced this or know what the -- is going on?

I have the exact same problem, Lakeside/Muizenberg Cape Town.

Hello,

Agreed with the rest of the people here - when using TI accounts, cannot access anything except a few international locations. DNS is borked and access to prominent local sites do not work. Have switch to Afrihost and all is good.

At around 1, I was hit with an outage, at 1.35am, it was all restored. I did change my DNS to 8.8.8.8. Didn't experience any outage after that. I'm currently on my Telkom internet and everything is perfect. Weird!
