I remember having this exact problem once in the past-
1-How to get this solved-?
2-What is causing this..-?
3-Is this a TElkom Software Bug-?

>According to my account I still have 11.60Gb of the CAP left.
Telkom Internet-Fixed line ADSL
100Gb Softcap.........You are browsing at a reduced speed-?
If I log in to my account I see the following.
SoftCap (100GB)
You are browsing at a reduced speed
>Monthly Allocation Depleted-88.40 % Out-of-Bundle .......grey on circle
>11.60GB........(Cap Still left according to account)............Blue on circle
>Remaining-Reduced Speed Usage :0.14GB

>Night Surfer------50.48GB(Used)

Telkom today:

I manage to contact 3 call centre agents, friendly, they see what I see, and that is that I have 11Gb not used(unused and available for december), but none of them can find a knowledgeable person to fix the problem, or understanding these interworking of the systems involved.

It looks like the system switch over to reduced speed as if the cap was depleted at 11.60Gb before 100Gb was depleted, now its stuck there and it now counts on at out of bundle data section.

This did not happen after JUN 2017 when it happened for the 1st time. They fixed it by credited me on their cost, and all was right again, sometimes it timed at at 100gb normally no problem, till now.

I do not want to enable out of data bundle options, simply because who knows it maymess up everything and than I have more problem to get rid of(Some previous experience way back).

The modern world seems Gosty....Fools paradise....

There is something broken with their system. I'm on uncapped and have reached FUP level 1. Looking at the usage logs on the portal I used 110GB between the 11/12th which is simply impossible. Telkom checked the usage on their side for the same period and it's 18GB. They did not fix anything or probably don't see it as a problem as all they did was report my actual usage and that was it.

One needs a specialist tech that has access to all the systems reporting to each other to determine which one to configure or recreate. I think previously they corrected my problem by paying the diff + 2Gb extra to give my speed back again , but actually that did not really fixed the problem technically, it then fixed itself as it reset end of the month.
Maybe my account got a misdiverted signal(glidge) from another account running out of cap,triggered my account to out of cap-slow speed, and because of the broken link it got stuck on that path and be stucked till reset eventually.
Now this is clearly a technical & administrative digital communication problem further up in their systems, and something the call centres just do not have the insight/understanding to, in fact they ask me the following questions totally off base for this problem:
1-How many devices you have connected-??? NVT-Not applicable to this scenario.
2-A line test-??? NVT-Totally not applicable to this scenario.(Out of cap by system, but also has cap by system)
3-A port test at local exchange-?? NVT-Problem further up obviously.

This indicate to me they have no clue whatsoever they are dealing with here. I cannot get further than the Call Centre.
This is exactly what happens if 1-The Board is clueless, then everybody below grow clueless over time also, 2-Certain centralised functions technicians is out of reach, but handed to a call centre far away from this reality.
If I just can speak to the correct tech, this will be solved in no time.

$$$$$
Their multimillion dollar digital system should be amended to bring up an alarm or error message if the condition excists where you are limited because part of the system thinks the cap has ran out while another part indicates it has not, refer to company designing the system for attention.

I've been having an issue where I still have about 1 gb of internet left and the system then starts slowing my 4mb FLLA and using the data from that level.

Incidentally my speed restriction is turned off when I hit FUP. First month on this product since migration and I'm not complaining lol.

Ok, over the last 4 days I noticed something I never picked up before observing the TaskManger graph illustrating browsing and download, I am very used to this.

While my account is still administratively slowed down with still 11.6Gb left, it counts on on their slowspeed counter.
Now what I saw is if I download a file the graph show slow speed alright, then out of the blue not predictable it runs full speed for 3-5 minutes no slack, then reverts back to slow, relating in the file download much faster than expected for slow speed. I cannot find a way to trigger this from my side, so not sure whats going on with their systems.

Ok, now it gets interesting........For 2 Jan 2020.

Last night everything seems ok again on account....Compared up to 01 Jan 2020-(From 20 DEc 2019)

Period=00:00 to 07:00 03Jan 2020
-My taskmanger show Less than 2Gb downloaded.
OK-Nigh Surfer stepped on and show 1.52Gb.
OK-The Softcap Used/Remaining remained ay 15.33Gb/84.67Gb I left it before 12:00 01 Jan 2020.

Period=00:00 to 07:00 Jan01 2020
x---The night of 01 Jan 2020 after reset the cap stepped on 14.x Gb which I though was very much for what I downloaded, and Night Surfer only show .01Gb whole night 00:00 to 07:00 01 Jan..

Period=20 DEC 2019 to 01 Jan 2020
Festive period of zero Night Surfer........??

Now it it remains like this for rest of month, it looks that they took nightsurfer away from 20Dec 2019 to 01 Jan 2020 period.....
.

Lets see if this was the case onwards .....?
