Very quiet in here today, is it safe to assume all is running well?

EDIT: All this NZB talks left me thinking, its been so long since I last downloaded using nzbsa.co.za. Turned it on and its going like a boeing :D

I'm not sure maybe I'm just lucky but my connection is mostly very good with very little shaping..... I do have problems with latecy in league of legends though. Its very unstable and varies a lot.
 
I'm noticing the same tonight hey, getting about 70% my line speed tonight? @Ranger, any changes happening tonight perhaps in the Joburg - Wilropark Area?
 
Not great speeds for me either. Latency on the high side and and struggling to hit 2Mbps speeds on a 4 Mbps line. Not downloading, so not sure what the impact is.

Im on Wilropark exchange and also not getting full line speed - I am using FNB Connect though.
 
I must really say from Telkom worked on Milnerton ,cape town lines two weeks ago , my router haven't disconnected ones , my router use to disconnect and reset every 3 hours , keep up with this level of service

Trying to download a driver from D-Link for my wireless usb adaptor. 30 kilobytes per second. more or less 1/3 of the speed I pay for.

There's def something up with your interwebs. Getting such slow speed if definetly not the norm.
Hows you speed using another ISP?
 
Torrents are running dead today, getting 40k with a healthy seed to peer ration of 2.900.
WTF :confused:
 
I have used a whopping 1Gig on my Telkom Uncapped account this month and my HTTP download speeds don't exceed 1.4Mbps on a 4Mbps line.

And I thought Afrihost had problems...

And you don't think it may be related to a line issue?
Why does everyone just revert to the throttling argument?

Log a call, pm TelkomZA and try to get to the bottom of the problem.

Have you read any of our positive stories in here?
308 gb used by me last month with no speed decrease what so ever.

Agree Electric, Telkom has improved allot

Have to agree that this thread has been derailed :(

My experience with TI has remained excellent - but maybe there's a TI deity that just has a problem with some people :whistle:

absolutely flying at FULL speed. In fact, with another telkom account it hauls a$$!!
