Does Telkom restrict torrents? I am getting 1.7kbps download speed on mine.
 
Must say, for the first time since signing up I've been able to stream Hulu without a hitch. Been streaming all weekend with no problems. Although, admittedly, I've mostly been streaming at SD, buffered here and there on higher defs, but for the most part pretty seamless. Will see if it lasts though :/
 
I have been so patient with TI, not ranting, not reporting issues, as each time i do that i get the dumbest person in the call center who knows NOTHING.

well now that's out of the way i think i might just be moving..........so over 144p youtube streaming.......
 
Regarding Youtube, I don't know why this was happening but on auto it defaulted to 144p and would not work. Manually setting it 360/480/720 works fine.

Isnt it like Netflix where it detects line speed and adjusts quality according to that, if my line is running correctly then Youtube goes to 720p. This month with Telkom problems its been going to 144/240p most of the time though.
 
Have we been able to confirm that it is an international capacity issue?

Heck, I left Afrihost for TI at the start of the month for the exact same issue there. Not happy so far.

I only manage about 3gb worth of torrents p/d in the allowed naughty protocol time on 2mbs

Back home.. Back to not being able to stream 128kbps radio on a expensive 10Mb account. How ****ing useless can these dumb ****s be. They need to remove everything involved in government from these ****ers.,I'm tired of paying for **** like this. Including tax.

192k shoutcast stream buffering non stop...... Sucks. I canceled already.....
