Starting to wonder if this isn't some sort of daytime throttling. Fine again

My line is only worth anything after 2300 or so at night, when the vampires come out, other than that it is trash to the point of a non service, below the minimum that even Telkom indicate.
Even youtube is useless. Can open and browse no problem, just dont try and play a vid at 480p, it stalls to nothing.

Time to record this as they seem incapable or unwilling to address the issue, so I will be claiming non service from them once the daily speedtest data stacks ups.

I'm submitting daily faults to them with speedtest results highlighting the issue.

International speedtest on here shows my 4mb line @ 1010kbps?!? http downloads are going at 65 kbps. Youtube and any other streaming site is dead. Browsing is like dial-up days. Yet NNTP via Astraweb going at 300-500 kbps? This is now going into week no.2 of erratic connectivity. Tried a well seeded torrent and that did not even find seeders , let alone start downloading - even though there are 6 hundred and plenty of seeders and a thousand or two peers. I connect through CT. I heard this was being sorted over the weekend?

0_o I'm still completely fine on my 2MB line in Durban.
Have been ever since ranger said he made those changes on Thursday I think it was.

My browsing in the last hour has been the fastest i have seen it. Anyone notice anything? On 10MB uncapped. Just an hrs drive from the Durban folks here.

I noticed my SNR downstream is better as it was hovering 6db when i normally get 12db. Currently at 9.8db (could be this)

Didn't browse during the day so can't comment on that but all scheduled downloads went through from 2pm onwards. Had powercuts from 10am :/

where do you check SNR downstream anyways? Does it have to be supported in the router? Cuz I've never found it in any of mine.
