Streaming is terrible tonight. Hulu keeps buffering every few minutes :(

That's not my experience. The only degradation I see is between around 6pm and 10pm on week nights.

+1 Agreed!

I will be cancelling Telkom Internet at the end of October, I'd rather use Mweb to be honest. If you want to use torrents out side of 00:01 and 06:00 then Telkom is definitely not what you are looking for - 12kbps at 8pm on a saturday.... ffs. Piss poor. I've done 25GB this month (mixed steam, torrents, http, streaming) and this is what I get.

I think your problems isn't "not getting the best speeds" i honestly was feeling the same a couple of months ago, until somebody showed me the light... LOL...

Torrents are BAD MMKAY!! Try NZB's, they working briliant , been using it for about 4-5 months already, havent looked back since, and i for 1 used to use torrents for everything basically, for about nearly 4 years.

My downloads are getting stuck!

Why?

Trying to get a small file (140 megs) from mega.co.nz and it keeps freezing. Same thing happened with the same file from another sharing site.

Happens with Youtune as well - just gets stuck...

Even with no downloads in the background, I often have to hit refresh several times because I get 'page cannot be found' errors :(

care to enlighten me on the nzb thing like you were enlightened. PM please. :D

You guys with page load issues REALLY need to try a few public DNSs. As I said, google DNSBench.

Yep I changed the password...
Had the same problem, make sure you have at least one number (0 thru 9), one special character (@#$! etc), one capital letter and one lowercase letter within the first eight characters of the password - you can use whatever combination you want in the rest.

Seems TI isn't fussed about the first eight characters rule but SAIX is, let us know if it works for you.

guys is this normal results for the usage tracker compared to data downloaded ? dont download 24/7 only download what i need then it idles mostly during the day :)

Flippin annoyed. The page not found errors are affecting my ps3 updates too. I will be downloading something on psn or doing an update and randomly I will get error 80710723 (DNS error) and I will have to start an update from scratch again. I've tried manually setting dns servers from http://www.saix.net/cgi-bin/saix_dns.pl but still have this issue. Unfortunately on ps3 I can't hammer F5 to refresh a page or download. The TI experience just gets better every day doesnt it.

PM sent, excuse my punctuation and grammar. . Kinda wrote that in a hurry.

If a Telkom technician is not at my gate by tomorrow I will be canceling my Telkom account with immediate effect and demanding a refund.

Called them with regard to high latency on Friday and the consultant recreated my ports... After which I have been internet less. They even had me replace the router...

Use your full username, including the @telkomsa.net

My internet username is ancient with more than just @telkomsa.net.

I have no idea where to change my password now. Ever since they changed the website to do.co.za I can't do a thing other than look at titracker.
