what will be the new 10MB price with the do bundle and the 25%?
 
Ok...so upgraded about an hour ago...still getting same speeds, how do you check?

No. The 25% is only for the Dsl line rental. It will be 25% of R425.
There are some guys who were lucky and got the discount for the data aslo.

Yeah, everynight this week I've tried playing but ping jumps between 100 and 300 on local bf4 servers. I was a VERY happy telkom customer until these upgrades came along (which I still haven't got anyway), and now I'm worse off.

This upgrade has turned into a DOWNGRADE!!
 
P2P performance is absolutely non existent. Why?

I needed a 12 MB file and it just would not connect or download, switched to my AH 1 GB free account, and low and behold full speed download. :mad:

[PS there is a Steam sale, so I will be downloading more games, so TI prepare your network] :D

Said engineers have had sleepless nights for 5 out of the past 7 nights doing work to ensure we can get better reporting of video quality (originally planned for July, had to be delayed due to capacity issues on the traffic management platform).

We will start looking into individual issues from tomorrow.
 
How can I obtain info regarding any possible upgrading of the Kirkwood exchange?
It has been on 4Mbps for ever.
I would like to know if 10mbps or something close to it is in the pipeline?

My ping was under 30 last night on the same servers and streaming seemed pretty good too. Only watched 2 episodes but hardly any buffering.

Had to climb back onto Afrihost capped (MTN backbone) last night to stream hulu & netflix on my Mac. Buffered continuously on TI :(

They are working on the gaming latency issues, I'm sure it will be sorted.

Hi Ranger. Thanks for this :) Does this mean Hulu might work again? I had such issues the past 2 months with Hulu's ads buffering to standstill while the episodes themselves work 100% that i had to cancel my subscription to hulu. Any idea if these changes might improve things in my case?
