Cant play games during the day,can only play by the times im suppose to download stuff. 12am-6am my torrents dont work, why are my torrents being throttled at those times anyway. I use nzb and direct downloads for new stuff, torrents for the older stuff which i tend to wanna get a bit more. 6 hrs in the morning is all i need for torrents.

This is what I'm getting, seems the routing through Telia.net is not lekke

I now have no internet connection after a port recreate...

If the bottleneck is in London could it be that the major floods have damaged the link?

I,m no expert but Telia is a Swedish operator (and I think that is where one of the problems lie). Is this how telkom route the traffic to Northern Europe? Would they have a back up to re-route traffic?

It's just how Telkom routes the traffic on their side when it gets to London, they can route it through other DNS servers as they should have "backup" servers just like with SIAX ( look at http://www.saix.net/cgi-bin/saix_dns.pl it should show you the servers that can be used within RSA ) so they can do something about it.

Also remember that Telia is also situated in UK, meaning they have branches there, just like TI, MTN, Mweb etc etc. I am not sure if the Datacenter is in London itself but usually they are situated there if the name indicates it

Btw Sweden has some of the best internet in the world :)

Browsing is so SLOOOWWWW. Super annoying. Not even going to try playing online. Can't wait for next month so I can change ISP.

As a brand new TI user, should I be worried about this?

If this is after one day, does that mean I'm very likely to be throttled in a week or two? Or does it go up based on the "pool"?

How does time of day affect tracking of this, if at all?

I'm on 2Mb and have probably used about 1.5 - 2GB in the last 30 hours or so.

Looking to join TI and would like some insight into the above as well

The 2 meg usually gets 200 - 260GB and even more if downloads are scheduled between 00:00 - 06:00, unless something changed.

I can definitely live with that. Will experiment with my scheduling to find the right balance. :) Thanks!

Played a bit of Blacklight on my PS4 and pings to server was 680ms. Not sure where the server is.

Could you maybe provide some insight Ranger?
Unfortunately I don't have the actual server address, but many TI users are complaing about poor latency to over seas servers, gaming, streaming, etc.

*** slow, latency is ****ed.

People have been complaining for days (weeks?) now.

I've posted in various threads and PMed the rep.

Sweet ****ing ****all response.

What in the christ is going on here?

Just checked latency to PoE (game). Something has changed, it's now spiking insanely between 210 and 5/700 ms.
