Had a great weekend jamming Dota2, but then last night around 6-ish it all started lagging. Ping spikes to 800ms intermittently
 
I must admit, every since I've been reconnected and switched to a different exchange I've been experiencing almost no issues with latency or slow speeds...Hulu was generally streaming fine over the weekend (albeit not always at high or HD quality) and my general browsing and download speed seems to have returned to normal. Had a spike of latency here and there over the weekend but in general it seems okay...Touch wood though...don't want to speak too soon O_o
 
Finally managed to get Twitch working at 06h00 this morning. But as you know TI, some of us need to go to work and actually do something! :whistle:

I think there was an issue with the servers, since my friends playing on 3G internet also had the same issue with spikes. I also had a lot of spykes yesterday.
 
What I find funny is on other ISPs everything works fine. How long have Telkom Internet had to fix the problem? It is highly unethical for Telkom Internet to advertise for more customers when the ones they do have they cannot supply with a decent service?
 
Going into the 3rd week of a constant less than 1/3 of the speed I paid for. I bet they'd nail me if I only pay 1/3 this month.
 
Yeah, I just can't believe we are heading into the third week with this and there hasn't been any sort of fix, that's just crazy
 
Ranger - any news on this 2-3 day fix that you mentioned ?

IF you had an undersea cable break I could understand, but 3rd party vendor issues with enforceable SLA's and internal processes failing to provide timeous resolution ? Just doesn't fly in the year 2014.

Brand value destruction. It's happening.
 
Some of my speedtests have looked just great, especially after they became aware of the issue and made some changes.

Yeah not looking good yet at all. I'm giving it until the 31st, then I'd have no choice but to switch ISP's.
 
This is really some logic defying stuff... How can it take a company of Telkom's magnitude so long to sort this out? I had hopes that things would continue as they were this weekend but NOOOOOOOOO.

Stuck with a connection that is only happy to connect to local sights.
 
Yeh, getting tired of this. We are just expected to wait and be happy with their constant silence, they really don't give a ****.

Trying to download a low def video someone emailed me and can't get it down.

Why the hell is my speedtest looking so good, but in reality the performance is like a sloth trying to breaststroke through a river of syrup?
 
It's now day twelve for me, speeds/pings are good, but streaming still an issue, had to try 3 times before I could connect to Netflix on my PS3, now buffering every 5-10 seconds!!! Now I am starting to wonder if this is not a permanent thing!!! So annoying and frustrating.
