Was ok early this morning while the rest of the country was out doing month end shopping. Managed to stream some HD hulu and netflix but now it's back to broken as everyone has come home.

Clearly ruthless shaping to mask a complete lack of sufficient bandwidth.

Disgusting. Refund please. Still waiting for my escalated cancellation confirmation call.

No updates. Just lies, smoke and mirrors. A truly embarrassing organisation scraping the bottom of the barrel.

There was an update yesterday I think where Telkom say its all sorted (perfect timing). Just in time for month end, providing hope to people and string them along some more so they pay for another month.
 
Been trying to download update files for Tekken 6 for the last 5 hours. It is a 675 MB download and keeps on disconnecting.

They provisioned an extra few gigs of international data to spread around for a few hours. It's run out now I'm afraid.
 
ping to euw.leagueoflegends.com is 202ms. No packet loss. In-game 600~670. Using DNS 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4. Same results with SAIX CT, Rosebank and Durban DNS.

IP addresses from Logs: 162.249.72.x
31.186.226.x was fine earlier today, as was 77.242.203.x.

EDIT: ping to euw.leagueoflegends.com is now 192ms O.O
(still ~615ms in-game though).

Performance this afternoon has been shocking for a weekend.

I can't even watch the launch videos of the Ferrari F14-T...
 
Why are we GETTING NO INFORMATION?!
They are either working on it or don't care. Hopefully it isn't the latter. I believe that they do care (some people at least)... Maybe they just don't have the manpower to type a message and work on an network at the same time.

I am getting full speeds with average ping on eu servers, am I the only one

Where are you from and what DNS are you using?
 
I am certain the people we deal with on the social platforms are good eggs.

I am also forced to conclude that some genius has instructed them not to say anything for the time being, the logic of which utterly eludes me.
 
So its 11pm on a Saturday evening and I can't even enjoy a game of league of legends without lagging my tits off. Damn this is so frustrating!!
 
Same here. Absolutely pathetic. Hating Telkom at the moment - just wasting money with them.
 
So 26th is pay Telkom day for me usually

I am a new TI customer since this month and I cant find out where I can see my invoice. My invoice for (05) Jan 2014 only shows charges of my line rental and dsl line for R475, however I also have a 4 meg account with them and the Telkom rep said my charges will show up on my online invoice.


??? Where is my 4meg uncapped dsl account charges?

If your Telkom billing cycle on your last invoice was 5 Jan - 4 Feb you will only see your Do Uncapped billing reflected on your Feb invoice available online from 5 Feb.

BTW there will be a double charge for Do Uncapped - Jan in arrears & Feb in advance.
