Same here..... finally it came and I got 20kbps!!!!

Its not only CT that has problems. JHB also does. I am on a 10MEG line and acc and getting pings of 350ms to telkom.co.za. Something is seriously wrong this night. It has never been this bad for me.

I'm getting pings of over a 1000 tonight.

Browsing sucks but nzb's download at over 400kbps on a 4mbps line using SSL. Strange.... It's like I'm being throttled.

Its nearly midnight so the network cant be that busy. TI is well and truly fsked.

12:05 and no improvement. Speed varies between 1 KB/s and 20KB/s/ Average about 7KB/s

I started a speedtest 10 minutes ago and it's still busy

Yep. Was fine for most of the day, but something's gone wrong again. This afternoon DNS flaked out, so I switched to Google DNS. Around 9 I noticed high latency in GW2, so switched to Afrihost. And now that I've resumed usenet downloads (on TI) I'm getting 20KB/s.

The DNS 8.8.8.8 does not help for me...

What is strange is the usernet ssl downloads run at full speed.

Yeah, it would be nice if ranger broke the silence. Or RPM asked a few questions around the offices at telkom...

My 2Mb/s bandwidth is rated a HIGH????
