What would the process be for terminating the uncapped account (but not the line) with telkom. i.e. The method with the least hassles.
I phoned 10120 and eventually ended up with cancellation.
I used my account to select the correct terms.
I cancelled 3 or 4 other services and I had a Do Premium or some thing like which was my uncapped data portion.
I cancelled that and made sure that they understood that I want to keep my telephone line and ADSL line active.
I was also on a 10meg profile, despite a previous call indicating I want the 2/4 meg profile, I changed that as well.
Also asked that my email accounts must be kept active.
They indicated that they are only completing a form and that someone would phone me to finalise. Also that it would serve as 30 days notice.
This happened on the 3rd. So far no call. I asked TelkomZA on twitter to help this morning.
I received a call from the twitter guys(Wesley) that wanted to check on details.
Still no call from cancellations though.
Will complete escalation form tomorrow.
Next day Hello Peter.
Will even try ICASA if Hello Peter does not yield results.
