Went down i think just after 1130am and then back shortly at 1220pm.

Wonder what happened O_o. This on the 2MB uncapped account.
 
Having problems connecting yesterday and today. Cant connect to BLOPS servers either?
 
I'm just wondering how many people have received their free line upgrades so far.

I haven't received my upgrade yet.
 
My downloads have slowed down to next to nothing during the day and i get error reports form my torrent clients. Could this be that Telkom is shaping my line during the day. After 11pm everything is back to normal until just after 9am in the morning. Is there aw ay for me o check if i am getting shaped? Its a Telkom 1mb uncapped line.

This is happening on the TI capped accounts as well and I suspect it's something to do with the speed upgrades underway. It's definitely something on TI's side as my Axxess account doesn't exhibit the problem.

I have noticed an improvement since Tuesday though.
 
If it has to do with the upgrades, it will take about 6 weeks to complete so expect this sort of performance (if not improved as said above) to carry on. Also noticed erratic performance this week. On Ti 2MB uncapped account (line speed is 1MB though).

Great things are happening :p.
 
Things are back to normal:



(using TI 2Mb uncapped Thu 18:00 thru Fri 07:00)

I just remembered I was having problems with uploading to imgur as well (TI capped account) which also seem to have been resolved.
 
On the 23d, it seems there was a failure on WACS, from 06h32 until 10h21, see SAIX notice NN0008999

I don't see anything for the 16th, though there seems to have been another WACS failure from the 14th 16h42 until 15th 15h33, NN0008935.

At present the international links are running over their planned capacity, so if one international link fails there is impact. More capacity is being provisioned, but this does take some time. Hopefully, it will be completed before the 1->2 upgrade is finished.
 
Gonna be switching over on thrusday to 4mbit telkom uncapped.
Yay or nay?
 
Can anybody access nasa.gov/msl on telkom?

Well are speeds throttled over the weekend then?
Im only home after 6pm during the week

Thanks for the update :). Everything is good so far. Can you give us some rough figures as to what capacity is coming along with how much currently is being utilised :D? I understand if you can't tell us due to it giving competitors sensitive info :p.

Give it a try for a month i say :).
 
Now steam doesn't bloody work properly with telkom. It starts loading the page, very slowly, then stops receiving after a few KB's. 1 Issue gets resolved then another pops up.
