Yeah R310 is allot, come to think of it... But considering how I used to use the Voda-s!*t (vodacom) USB thingy, and they charged a MINIMUM of R177/GB (can you f*@!% believe it?! Highway f*@!% robbery dude!!), it doesn't seem all that bad to me. The price implies that I used 13.something GB last month (I had 10GB free), and I'd say that's about right. This month though, it seems my bill will total/exceed the R658 of the uncapped bundle :/... So it would just be better if I went uncapped.

What I think Srack0verflow is getting at is mweb uncapped is cheaper then Telkom for your line speed.

384 line is the same price though.

Edit: Sorry I'm mistaken I just checked now and telkom is only R30 more expensive
(I thought is was a lot more).

what i was trying to get at was do you really NEED to go the un-uncapped route? when just a few tweaks of those old bad habits that those cellphone criminals trained you to do ..-is all that is needed to get the same 'value' but for much less.

guess it depends on what you use your internet for? *shrug*
maybe you just skype a lot :)

Haha no I don't Skype much. I suppose it's all the South Park, Boondocks, Gantz, and The Big Bang Theory, I've downloaded.

For me uncapped is important and worth the money. I like to download now and then but mainly its important for studies and gaming.

I'm studying programming and the text book I'm using is outdated so I use the internet most of the time to look for the right methods and if I got a problem with some code, it helps a lot to just google it. But if I'm with a capped account and I've run out of cap. I'm stuck until I get international again so I can research the answer.

(I'm on 384 line though, but if I could afford a 1Mb connection I'd get it).

HI. For the telkom 3 months free trial, you can't exceed your 8GB, right? or do you have to set a cap? I'm under the impression tht after you exceed your 8GB it automatically starts to only use local cap. correct?

Hmm, I'm not sure ey. If that's so, then indeed I should not have recieved the bill that I did.

the switch should be automatic. i'm not on the trial but have the same account and it capped correctly. but who knows what they're smoking, because my other 1GB'er is still not capping, and i've done 5GB on it

Well tomorrow's month end... Let's see what the bills say :/.

morning T K Crew

if we get billed for OOB data, it means the days of feeding from the deformed overflowing nipple are over :(

The tracking tool is STILL broken! Could somebdoy from Telkom please take care of the problem already?! Today it's reset back to ''0.0MB used'' and ''No blended active sessions''.

Code:
User: [email protected]
Blended Usage for November Blended Current Active Sessions
Uploaded data 0.0 MB
No Blended Active Sessions
Downloaded 0.0 MB
Combined Total 0.0 MB
TopUp Purchased for November 0 GB

Here we go again.
Again.

Guys, I just signed up for the uncapped 1Mb line, and it's been activated (they did it for me right here on the spot). However, they asked that I now apply the new username and password, and save that into the modem. I've gone into the Billion 400G setup wizard (or something of the sorts), and set the new password and username. Now when I go to either the SAIX or the Telkom website, it shows that there are no active connections, and 0GB used.... is that normal?
