Telkom Issues in the Mt Edgecombe Area

HI,

just wondering if anyone else has been having ADSL problems with the Exchange that Mt Edgecombe users are connected to? i have been down nearly two weeks and have heard a dozen stories from Telkom as to what the exact issue is (from DSLAM prombles to underground cables broken).

Also, anyone know how/where i can speak to an OMBUDSMAN as the govt method of secrecy as filtered into Telkom.

Well for what its worth, adsl back up. You never really know how addicted you are till its gone.
