WiFi and network is very poor. Keep buffering on kodi and Netflix.

Xbox works fine.

Do a speed test on your phone and also on the box and compare the results?

With netflix, you can stream 4k on 8Mb line.. it uses something like 7.3Mbs for 4k video but i think audio will be at stereo quality... as the bitrate ups you get better audio quality

At the moment this lit box is a piece of crap.. its in need of major software upgrade.. The Xiaomi mi box works well cos its based on android 6 which is really optimized. Android 7.1.2 needs alot bug fixing.. To get this box to perform properly needs alot of tinkering and when spending R1100 u really want it to work.. The interface just freezes sometimes and you constantly must restart the device to get it to work. Rather get the mi box from gearbest for around the same price

have use an app to set screen for speedtest to work..

For TV Settings issue.. go to app settings.. find tv settings

Then force stop the app, clear cache and restart the box and it works again...

sometimes restarting the box fixes it but other times u need to do the above so u dont have to factory reset

Any reason I should not be - box has fair specs - NetFlix, ShowMax, DSTV and Supersport where promised. Besides I have need of another media streaming box ...

Use an app called Set Orientation in the app store where you can force all apps to be in landscape mode.

It wasnt perfect but manage to cast my pc game to my tv. Window mode but was nice to see it was actually possible.

Hi people. Tested the new Dstv now app v 1.40.8 on LIT box, same great new interface, but dimming still present. It can be made little bit better by making tv brightness higher, but not much improvement.

Sometimes.. U just have to believe what other people say when they have a 4k tv and stream netflix.. And yes with netflix streaming technology 8Mb will get u 4k.. Remember they not using the standard compression algorithms..

As a matter of fact.. Netflix is investing $1 billion to research better algorithms for streaming.. Hopefully they can offer higher quality at lower bit rates
