Telkom LIT Android media box - Tips/Tricks/Apps thread

Anybody else ran out of internal memory after the upgrade? Or anybody able to format an SD card as internal storage?

I only installed Plex after the upgrade and now I have no internal memory left. The box is also unable to convert the SD card back to internal storage after the upgrade, just saying it is incompatible when trying to format it as internal storage. It is the same 64G microSD card that worked as internal storage before the upgrade.
I never had this issue after the update. I managed to convert my 32GB SD Card to internal storage

So the airmouse doesnt work on the new version? Can anyone confirm? And then it looks like some Sd cards cannot be used as internal storage while before it was possible. Bummer. This upgrade sounds more and more like a downgrade to me...

Diesanyone know how to do the hard reset. I have tried different ways of reseting from the box. please help.

Hi has anyone figured out how do a reset ?
Seems this A07 got bricked during the upgrade :(

My airmouse works fine with my upgraded A07 LIT Box.

I did not have enough time to figure out my 64G SD card internal storage problem. Will check tonight, not sure, but it might be the "zero internal memory available" that causes the formatting to fail? Will uninstall Plex and try again. Will also try a 32G SD card if that fails.

Bluetooth Airmouse works. Infrared Telkom Lit mouse doesnt work. They came out with the A11 A12

So I have a A7 that I have not used for a while. Plugged it in now and checked for update; nothing.

I assume the update can't be forced and I will just have to wait for an update popup?

Yip, you have to wait for the pop-up

Did an update on the A07 now it's stuck on the boot logo. (bricked) What a POS.

lol I feel you. I had a similar experience a few years back with this local streaming device- the Cloudgate. Biggest crap I've ever owned. It ended up as a frisbee with the kids playing with it in the back yard.
Hopefully yours can somehow still be salvageable.

Just an update on this: My memory problem is solved.

I emailed Nology this morning about it and when I got home tonight, I had a notification on the LIT box saying there is a problem with SD card, with an option to format it as internal storage. This time it worked.

Guys as i said in an earlier post, pop in an SD card, format as internal storage and then do the update. Like with most OS updates, it needs x amount of storage. If you don't have enough storage left, it's going to cause issues.

Nope, or at least not in all cases. Having it formatted as internal storage was the reason why my upgrade and that of esmile, did not work. See earlier posts.

You may as well uninstall most of the stuff you installed on it, as it is going to be formatted twice anyhow. Thus get some room that way.
