Telkom LIT Android media box - Tips/Tricks/Apps thread

Nope, or at least not in all cases. Having it formatted as internal storage was the reason why my upgrade and that of esmile, did not work. See earlier posts.

Thats normally how its meant to be. Depending on the size of the device storage, if an update is 2 gigs, and you have less than that, the update will fail. So ideally as Elf said below, maybe its best to reset the box before doing the upgrade, so that you have all the space necessary. Then re install the apps. In normal Android world, you are allowed to back up your apps and files, and then easily restore.

It seems that the developers of this didnt this through carefully.

Thanks will do.

Stupid thing erased everything. Do you still require a sideload launcher, busy updating my apps again now

Already done, even tried holding in the reset button while powering up.

What is it trying to do when you powers it up.

Mine took a while to do the updates. It was stuck on the a whirling circle with the comment erasing for a while.

Suggest you leave in on and see if it updates successfully.

Thanks @Icemanbrfc

Litbox should be back to normal by tonight.

Netflix kept bombing out and not playing. I will sideload the app i found on here unless there is a better one out

And Netflix doesn't open. Tried clearing cache wiping data nothing worked.

It allows me to login and then just closes.

It doesn't allow me to sideload the app.

Any solutions?
