With regard to the blue 'NET' light staying on all the time when switching off via remote into standby mode, it seems the box is still on somehow and still connected to the network.
I do not use an ethernet cable and connect via wifi. So the box is essentially still on, just without a picture being displayed. The light drops if my wifi drops.
This is also proved by using my PC or mobile, and still having the option to cast to the lit box in 'standby mode' if I'm playing something. It still picks up the Lit Box as a device to cast to.

Was this intentional? Standby mode on previous version didn't do this.

Is this on the latest upgraded version ?

I've just tried on 8.2.38 (A07) and everything goes red when I click the power button.

What is your power key definition in Settings set as ?

Yes same version and box. Its set to go into standby and not shut down. Albeit it turns off with my tv and not the original remote, still goes into standby though as the loading screen doesn't show when I power on again. So I'm assuming its going into standby mode.

Unfortunately cannot try with original remote as mine broke. Also, to power on, it doesn't come on with my tv as before, have to manually press the button on box. Switches off fine with tv.

Still no updates for A06

Hi all, we are finalizing our testing on the A06 devices. Due to the A06 devices not having the same Wi-Fi chipset as the other devices (A11, B05 and B10) we had to implement a different set of drivers. As such, the A06 firmware version will be 8.2.39. This firmware version is in no way different to the firmware already released, except for the Wi-Fi driver.

We aim to start the A06 campaigns on Monday. We will keep you posted.

Play and stop buttons not working since update. Using harmony remote with Telkom Media Box as device, obviously standard remote does not have these but android supports these buttons as it was working with android 7. Triples the amount of keypresses when wanting to stop playback. Any one have a solution or could @Nology amend the keyboard file again?

Help .. my LIT box is connected to my Sansui Hi-Fi with an HDMI cable , and from there to my TV . Since the new Android 8 update I cannot get the box to work via my Hi-Fi ?? ... If I connect it directly to an old TV it works ?

Try setting the resolution to 720p on the LIT and then plug into HiFi. Maybe it's the HDMI handshake failing between LIT and HiFi.

Hi. Today my LIT box (TVB-100 A06) started updating and like an idiot I didn't postpone the update. It started the update and then my TV showed there was no signal via HDMI. I waited a few minutes, nothing changed. I tried factory resetting the unit but still nothing. Unless I'm doing the factory reset wrong is there anything else I can try?

The unit was connected via WiFi if that makes any difference?

Try another tv if you can. Mine did the same. Connected it to another tv and it worked. Set it to a lower resolution. Connected it back on the old tv, and send resolution to auto. Worked like a charm

Thanks Gothan I'll try that. Worked on my PC screen, but TV doesn't detect it. Will give it a go.
