I asked about the Ethernet because I've seen an issue on other boxes where Plex thinks it's connected 4G when you use Ethernet so it doesn't play like it should locally.

MY experience so far on the A06 updates on both boxes i have

1. Annoying update process, having to pull the plug out a few times.
2. Plex still doenst work properly, there is still the exact same audio and audio sync issues from before. If i use Kodi with plex add on, there is a new bug. The navigation buttons freeze and have to revert to the very annoying pointer.
3. The device switches itself off even though i set it to never sleep. Same bug as in previous version

Overall its really crap if im honest, gonna throw both in the bin and try Xiaomi perhaps. I really expected more, instead i got less and more bugs

can you not use samba on your server. then add the samba share to kodi?

Wouldnt even know where to start.

For reference the Xb1 runs plex, and its literally never had an issue. Just works, no audio issues. Im still waiting for @Nology to revert back with a solution

Yeah it works that way. But got the menu freezing issue now since the update

Just check what Plex says because I know of another box also with Android TV that also has Ethernet issues where Plex thinks it's connected to 4G so it remote streams and transcodes.

Issue goes away using Wi-Fi.

Ok... i will test tonight on wifi and see if there is also any remote streaming going on.

Anyone else having the issue of the XMediaTMS service crashing? Showmax and Plex. Close it and no negative effects, video carries on playing.

You have any 3rd party streaming app installed or do you use IPTV at all? If I Google that I get XMediaTV, SDMC XMediaTV is a turnkey OTT solution for OTT operators, which includes: TMS (Terminal Management System)

SDMC are the people that make the LIT box.

Yeah I saw the same. I have Plex, Showmax, Kodi, DSTV Now and Haystack installed, will live with the issue for now until the update (eventually) comes down. I don't want to reinstall all of them now and then they are wiped with the update.

2 days. No answer from nology on the issues with the A06 update. I wanna say typical telkom but i won't

I did the upgrade yesterday on my A06 box. I did a factory reset before carrying out the upgrade. It went to "Erasing", running the white circle, and then rebooted into a black screen (Samsung FHD). Hooking it up onto a computer screen does not produce any signal. I know these boxes can boot into recovery mode by powering on while pressing the switch inside the hole between the two USB ports but not even that works. I'll see if I can't find another TV to hook up to but I don't have access to a 4k screen :-(
Any ideas what else I can try?

@Nology: I sent you PM just now, please have a look into the issue.
