I did the upgrade yesterday on my A06 box. I did a factory reset before carrying out the upgrade. It went to "Erasing", running the white circle, and then rebooted into a black screen (Samsung FHD). Hooking it up onto a computer screen does not produce any signal. I know these boxes can boot into recovery mode by powering on while pressing the switch inside the hole between the two USB ports but not even that works. I'll see if I can't find another TV to hook up to but I don't have access to a 4k screen :-(
Any ideas what else I can try?

Hi all, we are finalizing our testing on the A06 devices. Due to the A06 devices not having the same Wi-Fi chipset as the other devices (A11, B05 and B10) we had to implement a different set of drivers. As such, the A06 firmware version will be 8.2.39. This firmware version is in no way different to the firmware already released, except for the Wi-Fi driver.

We aim to start the A06 campaigns on Monday. We will keep you posted.

Problem is I have a second device which has not been updated yet, is there any way to force the update?

I downloaded the latest Amazon Prime apk. Installed perfectly. However when opening it behaves the same way Netflix used to.. Mouse all over the place, can't select things. Etc.
Anyone manage to get Amazon Prime running well

You need to download the one used on the Shield.

Ok, both Hulu and Amazon Prime are working on latest firmware. Here are the latest Android TV versions if you want to side load.

On another note with Amazon Prime. Is it possible to only have shows and movies filtered by what is available in our country.

Frustrating when you see show and then not available.

You can use an AV cable (if your TV has RCA in) as a temporary measure, but you'll have to find a newer TV/screen to hook up to so you can change the resolution on the box.

I probably had one of these cables lying around before the age of HDMI ;-) Otherwise where would I still get one? BTW, when I power on the box the TV still gives me a 1080@60Hz popup not an out-of-sync or anything.

My current Amazon Prime only shows what is available .

I think yours may be doing it because you registered overseas or something. I had the same issue at one stage (I faked addresses and accounts all over, which confused their system it seems). I had to sort it out by mail and tell them to cancel everything with me and I started fresh

Out of interest, turn off HDMI CEC and try again ?

i'm still very frustrated that since the update i cannot copy/cut and paste from internal storage to an external usb or sd card, when i try and it asks to choose external storage path it does nothing it just says task failed???

Yep. It seems to be a new "feature" with Oreo - Turing your USB into a read only devise. It's like having a CD-R all over again.

I know that CEC allows HDMI devices to control each other, that is the 1st thing I did and switched if off, and while sitting just on the home screen, it once again turned off my tv!
