I hear what you are saying but cannot go into my box only black screen box has all lights on red and do not respond to any inputs at all.Are there a way to reset box or what can I try.
 
There is a factory reset procedure - @Nology is the company rep and will be able to help you. This post should alert him to your problem, or you can PM him.

If only going on single and multi core scores this would be the order with the Telkom Lit box placing first and the Xiaomi Mi box placing last.

What to make of this ? Is it necessary to consider any other data regarding the results besides the core scores or do one need to look at the other shown results regarding the tests to decide which box might be better ?
 
Well one thing I've come across is that Xiaomi MI advertise their CPU as running at 2.0Ghz, and the rest I believe are all 1.5Ghz ...

But it seems that's not really true and the series is limited to 1.5Ghz like rest. The geekbench tests actually confirms it as well

Some boxes are buying the cheaper S905W as well (Ie some of X96 / MQX Pro boxes) . Cheaper, slightly less powerful and can't run 4k/60fps ...

When using voice, completely freezes up the box..have to then unplug to get it working again
 
Hi,

Any recommendations for an audio book player, for use on the the LIT box, remember a where stopped listening needed.
 
Back in the day, someone told me about file systems / LIT / USB... I can't recall what was said though.

Could it not do NTFS?

EDIT : Not that... LIT recognizes NTFS

Anyone using Emby shared server service?

Started using yesterday and the lit box works really well.

Emby is like Plex. So you get plex share and emby share. Guys running a massive server with content on it and you pay a monthly fee to access the server.

Some people run their own plex or emby server and load their own content so this is basically just a remote server.

Prices range between $6 to $10 and they usually offer CDN so local traffic from Cloudflare which is nice.

Indeed saves from downloading all the content. The server I'm using is https://baconfeet.com and they have half a petabyte of content.

Also nice since they use cloudflare CDN so content is served locally from the JHB CLoudflare node which is really nice. Full remux version of 4K eats a lot of bandwidth though but you can set the quality you want.

I want to access my LIT over my Lan. How do that? Something I install?
 
Hi guys,

After countless headaches with Telkom not wanting to accept my LitBox for repair (box crashed while it was updating) as I do not have the original proof of purchase anymore (got it a year and a half back with my contact) and with Nology insisting with Telkom that they take it but Telkom being their usual self and not accepting anything I've given up on booking it in and might want to hear if there isn't anyone selling their box on here? Please PM me or let me know if you're selling.
