Here I am wanting a LIT TV box, and last night Windows Defender would not even update. That on a 10 mega line. Maybe I shouldn't bother.

Same issue here last night, line was dead, 10meg fiber, gave them a call ... "Our systems are down sir, it is affecting everyone ...."

Yeah, TelkomZa has just told me I must apply for one. Frigging AWESOME.

My Telkom 10Mbps Uncapped is running at 1.7Mbps switch to Afrihost and I get 9.1 Mbps so Telkom are majorly pissing me off right now

Had the same issue with my line for ages after an upgrade, afrihost test Acc ran at full speed.

After many port resets the issue seems to finally be sorted

I really hope not - I do not need all the aggro - to get something to work as it should, all the while I am paying for it, as if it is working like it should.

So Telkom is back to its old ways or they actually never improved.

Yep - about it - Telkom was improving at one stage and I started having hopes they would get their act together. Got upgrade issues, Telkom Direct stores are now Telkom Retail, they can sell you things and are useless for most else. Then the LIT TV box debacle ...

PS: was at the other Telkom outlet in town - flatly told they do not have stock. [ sigh ]

Got the LIT player after playing ping pong with Telkom N1 City for 3 weeks. Loaded Mobdro and a few other apps without needing to use a side loader. Installed it anyway cause you guys said so

Netflix isn't working but that doesn't bother me cause we don't watch Netflix in our braai area.

Mine keeps loosing the network after waking up from sleep. I have to pull out and reinsert the ethernet cable for it to work.

Anyone else having this problem?

Switched my folks one to Wireless (or at least entered the details so it fails over) for this very reason.
