I've had my lit since they were launched, and I am still on the original batteries.

Hi there my version is 7.1.2 I had to get 4 rechargeable batteries (NiMH) and had to replace both batteries everyday. So charged 2 at a time.

I think he means hardware version
A06, A07 etc....
Can find in the serial number under the box itself

Haven't had any issues battery wise.

Better to install a remote on your phone surely than buy a new one? I assume your phone will be on the same network

Anyone having problems with streaming DSTV now at this moment? I'm getting a runtime error.

Edit: restarted the box and DSTV Now error "API Exception"

Is there a difference between Google Assistant on the Google Home Mini and the TVB100/Phone?

I was hoping that they could be linked somwhow, and that I could activate/dim lights by voice.

Also, although AP and TVB are close, I'm steaming 4K video wireless with a 15-16 buffer - which is pretty cool

I get the Google Mini to turn off (but not on) the box - and subsequently my TV, processor and amplifier.

I can get it to open YouTube and show certain types of videos - but no search. It's really odd - but shows where they are going at least.

Will play more later

I see guys talking about air mouse, does this imply you move the remote in the air to move the pointer on the screen? The remote that came with my device certainly doesn't offer that functionality. Is it supposed to?

The one that has the mouse icon. Above the volume +

I'm assuming you hold it in and move the remote in a wand motion.
