It does. Just doesn't work.
Is this enough grounds to return the device... False advertising and what not...

Also... Is the packaging different for tge different versions?

Some pics could help. Id rather nip that **** at the store... And tell them straight that thats the k*k/problematic model.

Anyone here successfully got the box to reset by using the “pinhole” on the side? Mine does absolutely nothing.

Or...

Maybe experienced the following:

Lit box hooked up to my lg tv in bedroom.
Was watching a show yesterday when box restarted by itself. All the lights came on as per normal but no picture.
Tried all the usual things like unplugging, restarts, making sure inputs on tv did not accidentally change etc etc.
Swopped out hdmi cable with a brand new one I had. Still no picture. All the lights come on, I can see the box after restart on my network and when opening up the android tv app on my phone the box gets picked up.
When I press the power button on the remote my tv comes on with as per usual and same when swithing off the box the tv shuts off.

Unplugged the box upstairs and hooked it up downstairs on my Lg 4k tv. Same thing. All the lights come on, Arc works, box registers on network and I can access it from the android tv app but no picture on tv.

The only thing left is to reset the box but as I can not get any picture my only option is the “pinhole” on the side which as far as I can pick up does nothing.

I also just tried an AV cable to see if I can get picture. Same result as above.

Edit:
Finally got the box to display picture through AV port with an old apple ipod video cable I still had lying around. Also only when pushing in the 3.5mm jack halfway. When pushed in all the way again no picture.
Anyway, factory resetted the box, tried Hdmi again with 3 different cables and 2 different tvs and still nothing. Tested hdmi cables with my apple tv and they all work perfect.
Seems like the hdmi port failed?

Back to Telkom I go. This is going to be fun...

*Update*

I was in 2 telkom stores yesterday. None of them can exchange the box in store even though it was tested and confirmed broken and the box only 3 weeks old. Their “policy” is to send it to head office, attempt to fix it and if they can’t, only then send a replacement to the store it was handed in at. This process takes 21 to 28 days according to both stores. I almost bought another Lit box a week ago to replace my Apple Tv downstairs. Im glad I didn’t.
Ordered 2 mibox’s last night. Will use this piece of crap in the kids play room when it eventually gets returned.
The quicker I can get away from all telkom related the better.

Anyone looking for a lit box remote with USB receiver let me know. I've upgraded so won't need my original air mouse.

My WiFi is quick and with the size of my house, I always get faster throughout as everything is so close. I'm on 802.11AC1600 ... But I've just seen the box is connecting at 2.4Ghz only ...

EDIT : Definitely the WiFi ... Via Ethernet I'm getting the same speed. But this should be 5Ghz box and it should be connecting on it

Never leave your WiFi to figure out frequency itself. It just doesn’t work properly.

Give the 5ghz it’s own SSID and connect to it manually.
